Our Coaching Approach

We partner with XLR8 for coaching support throughout the season. Although Gordon FC’s ongoing success is reliant on the support of community volunteers. We need coaches, managers and referees for each age group team drawn from volunteer parents. Many perks come with the job including being closest to the game action, demonstrating our club values and opportunities for coaching courses to enhance your skills.
All coaches and managers receive a GFC polo and puffer jacket

Registration

Every coach and manager needs to register (for free) in PlayFootball
Note that coaches and mangers of teams U18 and younger will need a Working With Children Check - so please start process if you do not have one.

 Coaching Approach Per Age Group

 We seek parents with:

  • Extraordinary patience

  • A sense of humour

  • Inclusiveness in their approach

  • Willingness to learn

The club will provide access and opportunities for continued skills enhancement for coaches and managers alike.
