Trials for JDL and Youth teams
The jury has spoken! The new development partnership between Gordon FC, Corpus Christi Hawks and North Turrramurra FC has a name - Ku-ring-gai Phoenix it is. And with that, comes details on the upcoming trials.
Ku-ring-gai Phoenix Trials Principles:
Ku-ring-gai Phoenix (Phoenix) is a partnership between NTFC, CCFC and GFC to provide selected Development Squad opportunities for our children looking for a structured development path to higher football honours - including Junior Development League 1, Super League or Diamond League.
NSFA have reserved JDL2 slots (U8-U11) for Phoenix in 2025 and we will spend 90% of our effort on building from this base to create a foundation for the future.
In 2025, no teams will be proposed to NSFA beyond JDL2 and Youth Div 2 without a track record of supported performance, depth and capability to be successful. At this juncture, this is only U18 - a prior collaboration with NTFC and other clubs.
Trials will be held for following age groups:
- U8 to U11 (including G10) Trials for JDL (Junior Development League)
- G12, U12 and U13 - Development pathway opportunities towards Super and Diamond League
- U18 Trials for Super League
Venue: NTRA, Bobbin Head Road in North Turramurra
Dates and Times:
Sunday 3rd November 2024:
U8 and U9: 9am to 10:10am
G10, U10 and U11: 10:30am to 11:45am
G12, U12 and U13: 11:45am to 1pm
U18: 9:30am to 11am
Sunday 10th November 2024:
U8 and U9: 9am to 10:10am
G10, U10 and U11: 10:30am to 11:45am
G12, U12 and U13: 11:45am to 1pm
