It’s Female Football Week in Australia Friday, 3 May to Sunday, 12 May 2024
Female Football Week is a nationwide initiative to profile, advocate for, and celebrate women in football, with the intention of creating greater visibility across all areas of the game. Female Football week aims to promote the important role women play in developing football and to drive female participation at all levels of the game.
The NSFA has set out the following female representation goals by 2026:
40% female players
25% female coaches
20% female referees
50:50 male to female media communications (websites, e-newsletters, socials, marketing materials etc)
As proud recipients of the NSFA’s 2023 Female Football Award, we would like to thank the wonderful Gordon FC Community for their support of football gender parity. Please join us and get involved at one of the various Female Football Week activities
