Female Football

GFC Female Players

At Gordon FC we aim to provide a positive environment for our female community members – players, coaches, managers, referees, care-givers and committee members.

It is fantastic to see an increasing number of girls and women playing, and we are keen to work with our players and community to provide mixed and girls-only teams.

Che and Robyn

In 2023 we were able to provide free weekly skills-development training to all of our female players. This was possible, thanks to the NSW Government Football Legacy Fund.

Gordon Football Club was excited and privileged to have received the 2023 NFSA Female Football Award - for our efforts in promoting female participation - achieving a 78% increase in 2023. Special thanks to Robyn Martin for championing this cause for a long time with able support from Che, Sally, Sarah and Cathy
